Dakar Rally 2010

31st issue of the Dakar Rally is held in South America, the second year, a traditional route in Africa is under threat due to security problems.

This year the competition began and end in Buenos Aires, covering a total area of 9000 km between Argentina and Chile on 14 stages. 362 teams started the race on 176 motorcycles and quads, 134 cars and 52 trucks.

Competition has recently exceeded the equator, the winners have to cross the finish line on January 16. 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver

The 2010 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXI Olympic Winter Games or the 21st Winter Olympics, will be held on February 12–28, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with some events held in the resort town of Whistler and in Richmond, a Vancouver suburb. Both the Olympic and Paralympics Games are being organized by the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC). The 2010 Winter Olympics will be the third Olympics hosted by Canada, and the first by the province of British Columbia. Previously, Canada was home to the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec and the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta.
